Fallout 3 is just very poorly optimized when it comes to different systems specs. Thanks, but sadly I'm not even 100% that this will fix your issues.
You have coverd everything with this, will try. So whenever I have issues with crashing I also install įallout 3 is very finicky, but it's so worth putting up with it as it's a great game. Also since Fallout 3 is being run in the New Vegas engine means that I can use New Vegas mods. Nowadays since I have both Fallout 3 GOTY and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition on Steam, I install Tale of Two Wastelands which simply makes Fallout 3 run in the New Vegas engine and also allows you to travel between the Capital Wasteland and the Mojave Desert. I'd try each of these individually to see what works for you, but you might have to do multiple fixes for it to work. In the past 1, 2, and 4 with some ini tweaks and DLL's downloaded fixed Fallout 3 for me. Large Address Aware(similar to 4GB patch): īest way is to 'install' it manually and then delete menus folder in data and it should work with no problem. OP, I know you've stated that you've tried some fixes already so sorry if I do some repeating, but try these fixes if you haven't already.ĥ. I've had some bizarre scenarios in the past where Fallout 3 will not work on my system, but after reinstalling my OS(Windows 7), it works without any problems.
Fallout 3 is very 50/50 with how it's going to work on PC.
